Event Details

Change Foundation CEO Andy Sellins and journalist Nick Ames will kick-start the charity’s 40th Anniversary with a 25-mile walk. The walk will travel between two iconic cricketing arenas, trailing a route that holds significant historical importance to the sport and to the charity.

The walk will begin at Arundel Castle’s cricket ground, the scene of training camps organised by the Foundation for the England Blind Cricket team.

It will finish at Sussex’s Hove ground; the home of what is know to be the oldest existing professional sports club in the world.

Andy is a veteran of many such challenges, but for Nick it is a new experience bringing him back full-circle to his days in the early 1980s when he worked for the Change Foundation’s previous incarnation, the London Community Cricket Association.

All raised funds will go towards The Change Foundation’s 40th Anniversary fundraising target of £250,000.

This  which will be used to create innovative new ‘sport for social change’ projects across the UK and around the world.
