The Change Foundation’s Dragon’s Den Turns Ambition into Reality

Diverse team of young professionals at The Change Foundation office.

Innovation, creativity and determination took centre stage as The Change Foundation’s annual Dragon’s Den returned, showcasing the incredible entrepreneurial talent emerging from our Street Elite programme.

Each year, Street Elite graduates with ambitions of starting their own businesses pitch their ideas to a panel of Dragons, who challenge, mentor and ultimately decide whether to invest in helping bring those dreams to life.

This year’s ideas demonstrated not only creativity but a genuine desire to solve real problems and improve communities. Business concepts ranged from affordable beauty and hair services, skincare and wellbeing brands, fashion labels and specialist wig businesses to inclusive family support spaces, event hire services for parents, educational board games celebrating Muslim heritage, and natural health products designed to promote healthier lifestyles.

Every pitch reflected the confidence, resilience and entrepreneurial mindset that participants have developed through the programme. While each business idea was unique, they all shared a common goal: creating opportunities, building sustainable futures and making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Following thoughtful questions and valuable feedback from the Dragons, several young entrepreneurs secured investment to help take the next step in their business journey. Beyond the financial support, every participant left with greater confidence, invaluable advice and a stronger belief in what they can achieve.

The event once again demonstrated that with the right encouragement, mentoring and opportunity, young people can develop innovative businesses capable of creating lasting social and economic impact.

The Change Foundation is incredibly proud of every entrepreneur who stepped forward to present their vision. Their passion, professionalism and courage were inspiring to everyone in the room.

A huge thank you goes to the Berkeley Foundation for their continued partnership and support in helping young entrepreneurs turn ideas into reality.
