Earlier this year we were approached by representatives from The Gym Group in Purley. The gym is local to our home cricket centre in Wallington, Surrey.
Our delivery team were incredibly grateful to have a local business reach out and offer their support and services to our charity.
This week our Coach Mentors Yvette and Dan took young people from our disability inclusion programmes to the gym for an induction.
The gym’s Assistant Manager Clara gave everyone a fantastic gym induction, and everyone left with sore muscles and big smiles having learnt how to safely and independently use the gym.
Our Coach Mentor Yvette shared: “Everyone was very patient and welcoming and made all our our young people feel confident when using the facilities.”
