Celebrating the Mayfair Collective’s Annual Christmas Ball

Last night, 354 people from the Mayfair Collective family came together at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, for the annual Mayfair Collective Christmas Ball.

Guests were welcomed on arrival by an acoustic harp performance played by Amie True and spoilt with a consecutive acoustic performance from Stradivarius violinist Andrew Bernard. Both musicians also donated a private performance as silent auction prizes.

Beautiful flower arrangements generously provided by Natasha from Floral Courtier adorned the iconic venue. Alongside her intricate table arrangements, each guest was gifted a teddy bear to represent the 354 young people supported by The Change Foundation’s education programmes using funds raised at last year’s MC Ball.

Alexei Cantacuzene-Speransky who is co-founder of Mayfair Collective explained this to guests during his welcome speech. It reminded each guest of the life-changing impact their support has on The Change Foundation’s work.

After they enjoyed a three-course dinner, guests started crossing their fingers to win a selection of luxury raffle prizes. Top prizes included a set of two 18k Yellow Gold and Pavé Diamond Bracelets from Beazie, a roulette diamond pendant from Boodles and beautiful diamond earrings from Odendaal Diamonds. Each prize was generously donated for the event.

After the raffle, the iconic band Uptown Showtown didn’t waste any time getting guests on their feet dancing to Motown classics. The dance floor was quickly filled with guests laughing, singing and letting their hair down.

A silent auction run by A-Star offered those who couldn’t join the event in person a chance to bid for luxury holidays in Europe, luxury golf holidays and 02 Arena concert tickets.

Siv Sivasamy is also a co-founder of Mayfair Collective. He shared: “Our aim is always to try and do good whilst having a good time… hopefully we achieved both in spades… thanks for all the help and support putting this event on Change Foundation.”

The entire evening wouldn’t have been possible without SivAlexeiRachel Vetch, all of the prize donors, Natasha Gulliford the florist, everyone who attended the ball and all those who joined the auction at home. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2024!
