Golf 4 Change
Participants gain mentoring, experience with structured activities, and access to career pathways.
Aim & Who
Golf 4 Change uses golf as a tool to develop employability skills in young people aged 16–24 from marginalised communities, particularly those with limited access to professional networks.
Why it’s needed
Youth unemployment remains high in disadvantaged areas, with 1 in 7 young people NEET (not in education, employment, or training) in London. Young people often share, “I don’t know anyone who can help me get a real job,” highlighting the lack of exposure to workplace norms and mentors.
Impact
The programme teaches communication, professionalism, and confidence in practical settings. Participants gain mentoring, experience with structured activities, and access to career pathways. Golf 4 Change builds the skills and networks that unlock long-term opportunity.
