Boxing 4 Change

Boxing sessions teach discipline, focus, emotional regulation, and non-violent conflict resolution.

Aim & Who
Boxing 4 Change engages young people in high-risk communities, using boxing to educate on knife crime prevention and build resilience.

Why it’s needed
Knife crime remains a critical risk, with 3,400 offences recorded in London in 2022 involving 10–19-year-olds. Participants often share, “I see my friends carrying knives and don’t know how to get out of it.”

Impact
Boxing sessions teach discipline, focus, emotional regulation, and non-violent conflict resolution. Mentoring conversations alongside training help participants understand the consequences of choices. Many report reduced involvement in risky behaviour, increased confidence, and stronger peer networks, creating safer communities and brighter futures.
