Rugby 4 Change
Many report better decision-making, reduced risky behaviour, and improved peer relationships.
Aim & Who
Rugby 4 Change engages young people in areas affected by youth exploitation, street crime, and county lines activity. It teaches personal safety, decision-making, and resilience through rugby.
Why it’s needed
Over 10,000 young people in the UK are exploited through county lines each year. Participants tell us, “I didn’t know how to stay safe or who to trust,” reflecting the lack of accessible, relatable guidance.
Impact
Combining rugby sessions with game-based discussions, young people build awareness, teamwork, and confidence. Many report better decision-making, reduced risky behaviour, and improved peer relationships. Rugby 4 Change gives young people the tools to navigate challenging environments safely while building a sense of belonging and purpose.
