Street Elite

The programme transforms potential risk into real opportunity.

Aim & Who
Street Elite is designed for 18–25-year-olds affected by inequality, violence, and crime, using sport as a pathway into employment. It targets young people who face systemic barriers to work and lack access to supportive networks.

Why it’s needed
In some areas, youth unemployment exceeds 15%, and many young people report feeling, “I don’t have anyone who can help me get a real job.” Exposure to violence and social exclusion further reduces opportunities.

Impact
Street Elite combines structured sport sessions, mentoring, and work-readiness training. Participants develop teamwork, discipline, and professional skills. Remarkably, 80% move into sustained careers each year. Beyond employment, young people report increased confidence, sense of purpose, and long-term resilience. The programme transforms potential risk into real opportunity, providing young people with the networks, skills, and belief they need to succeed.
