Welcome to HQ
The Centre is the home of The Change Foundation and a welcoming community space in Wallington, Sutton. Built through care, community and a belief in the power of sport, it’s a place where people come together to connect, grow and feel supported.
From sport and community activities to events and venue hire, HQ is designed for everyone. It’s where young people feel seen, friendships are built, and positive change begins. Whether you’re visiting for sport, a session or simply to be part of the community, you’re always welcome here.
History of The Centre
In the 1990s, The Change Foundation secured land in Wallington with a vision to create a sports and community space for young people. With support from former England cricketer Phil Tufnell and volunteers through the TV series With a Little Help from My Friends, HQ was built from the ground up.
Former trustee Paul Wickham later helped develop the indoor school, expanding opportunities for year-round sport and community activities. Today, HQ remains a welcoming space shaped by care, teamwork and community spirit.

Indoor Cricket Nets
Our indoor cricket nets are a high-quality, purpose-built training space designed to support every level of the game. Whether you’re just starting out or developing elite skills, this is a space that works for you.
Two full-length lanes (30m+) give you the room to train properly. The nets feature excellent lighting and a premium weave-on-top mat surface, recommended by the ECB and similar to surfaces used at Lord’s Indoor School.
The surface provides true bounce for pace bowlers and reliable grip for spin, helping every session feel like real match play.
More than Cricket
The indoor nets can also be hired for non-cricket use, including community sessions and regular activities. If you need a reliable indoor venue, we can help make it work.
Booking Information
Booking is simple and straightforward:
- Bookings must be made in advance
- Maximum of 6 people per net
- Please bring your own equipment (stumps provided)
- When booking, select the number of nets under “participants”

Peak
(Mon–Fri, 5pm–10pm & weekends, 9am–10pm)
