Mount Toubkal Challenge

Over the weekend of the 18th and 19th May, a group of 8 climbers took on North Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Toubkal in Morocco, raising funds to continue our life-changing work at The Change Foundation.

On Saturday they set off in the early hours to start their ascent, eventually reaching their rest point at 3200m, where they refuelled and tucked themselves into their tents for the night. The following day, they set off again in order to reach the summit at a height of 4160m in time for sunrise.  From there they descended back to their start point all in the same day, a huge feat of physical and mental endurance.

Well done to all of the climbers, whose fundraising page is still open if you wish to show your appreciation for their efforts with a small contribution.
