London to Brighton Walking Challenge

Hannah, Phil and Abbi from Berkeley Group are taking on the challenge of walking 100kms from London to Brighton in support of Girls Win next month.

In its 8th year this year, The London to Brighton Challenge takes 2,000 adventurers of all experience levels and ages on this classic Capital to Coast route, testing their grit and determination – and all out to push themselves further. They will be doing so to raise funds for our Girls Win programme, which uses sport to help young women with a disability set short, medium and long term goals. It empowers young women to think more positively about their future, how goal setting can develop their prospects for the future and engages young women in activities that keep the body and mind healthy to adopt a growth mind-set.

Starting in Richmond on 25th May, the intrepid three will travel over the North and South Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside before the welcome Brighton coastline comes into view and they can eventually rest their weary legs and get a well deserved ice-cream by the seaside the following day!

They are doing sterling work and have already reached 55% of their £1500 goal, but please head over to their fundraising page and top it up!
