During 2016 The Change Foundation will be celebrating 10 years of, ‘Hit The Top’, a powerful sport for development programme with a difference that has had a positive long term impact on the lives of many young people with a physical, visual or learning disability by giving them independence, confidence and new friendships through sport.
There will be numerous events and promotions that will be taking place throughout the year which are being planned and prepared at the moment that will be for everyone involved with Hit The Top now and in the past to get involved with.
Andy Dalby-Welsh, the charity’s Head of Operations and Partnerships and Hit The Top founder says, “Hit The Top is one of the major programmes at The Change Foundation and is seen as the flagship for all of our work. Starting life as a disability cricket programme, it has grown into a multi-sports related programme that has touched upon and affected the lives of so many of our young people and staff alike”.
“As well as celebrating with all those who have been a part of the programme over the last ten years we also want to look forward to what Hit The Top in the year 2026 will look like!”
To help with the celebrations the charity are asking everyone on our social media platforms to use #HitTheTop10yrs and help us share the impact of ‘Hit The Top’ with the world!
