Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II meeting Andy Dalby-Welsh
“It was a great honour and privilege to have met Her Majesty. It is also very exciting for The Change Foundation to be one of only two UK sport for development organisations amongst the many youth orientated organisations that are part of the Queen’s Young Leaders programme. For the charity’s staff and the positive changes they make in many young people’s lives to be recognised at such a high level is very pleasing.”
A Sporting Visit
The reception was followed later in the week by a visit to John Chilton School in Ealing by a number of the Young Leaders from around the Commonwealth who had the chance to participate in a Disability Cricket session. The cricket session was hosted by The Change Foundation and gave the young leaders a chance to see the great work of the charity’s staff and how sport can inclusively engage and positively develop all young people.
