A Marathon Achievement

The Change Foundation would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Graham Evans for his magnificent efforts in the 2015 London Marathon!  All his training (of mind and body) paid off and he ran his heart out to complete this fantastic achievement.  Graham’s efforts have helped raise over £2.5K for the work of the charity!

Everyone involved with the charity are extremely grateful to Graham and all those who donated which not only helped spur Graham on but also supports the charity to continue its work in helping change young people’s lives through sport and dance.

Nice outfit Graham and at the end with his proud family and friends!

If you still wish to donate then here’s Graham’s story and why he raised funds for us:

This fantastic charity enables young disadvantaged children opportunities to channel negative experiences into positive outcomes. The activities encourage teamwork, positive role modelling and offer opportunities to create lifelong friendships.

My interest in the charity began 4 years ago. My son Tom, who is visually impaired has been unable to partake in sport at his mainstream school, denying him an opportunity to experience and develop so many of the positive skills associated with sport such as: teambuilding, independence, commitment and confidence. Tom was introduced to this charity, which offers access to sport and activities for blind and visually impaired children. Since then he has developed skills which have improved his confidence and independence. In addition to this he has forged friendships and now plays cricket for his county.

I have chosen to run the London marathon to show my appreciation for this incredible charity. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
